Shmellins® Salted Caramel Apple Crepes

Our Sunday morning tradition includes a hot cup of coffee and delicious homemade crepes stuffed with granny smith apples caramelized with Shmellins Salted Caramel sauce and topped with more Caramel. Forget maple syrup these days, once you have Shmellins® Caramel you won’t need anything else!

  • 2 tbsp Shmellins® Salted Caramel Sauce
  • 1 Granny Smith Apple (skin and dice)
  • 2 Crepes (Homemade)
    • Use a recipe that fits your dietary needs
  1. Combine apples & 1 tbsp caramel sauce in a saucepan. Sauté until soft.
  2. Spoon apples into crepes and roll
  3. Top crepes with remaining apples
  4. Drizzle 1 tbsp of Shmellins® Salted Caramel Sauce over crepes
  5. Enjoy!

Shmellins® Salted Caramel Banana Pancakes

These are one of Shmellins® personal favorite! Fluffy pancakes with caramel sautéed bananas, what else could you need!

  • 1/4 cup Shmellins Salted Caramel Sauce
  • 1 Ripe Banana
  • 4 Small to Medium Sized Pancakes
  • 1 Pinch Sea Salt
  1. Cook 2-3 small-medium pancakes, and place on plate when ready
  2. In small sauté pan combing bananas and Shmellins Caramel Sauce
  3. As bubbles start to form, use a rubber spatula to mix (1-2 mins)
  4. Pour warmed caramel sauce and bananas over pancakes
  5. Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt
  6. ENJOY!

Shmellins® Salted Caramel French Toast

“I don’t usually crave french toast, but when I do, I know my recipe reins supreme. #Imthebest.”- Shmellin

  • 2-4 slices of Organic, Vegan, and or Gluten Free Bread
  • Bread Coating:
    • 2/3c Oat Milk, Coconut Milk, or Almond Milk
    • 2 Eggs (1 Tablespoon tapioca starch-vegan sub)
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1 tsp nutmeg
    • 1 Tablespoon Shmellins® Salted Caramel Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Diced Berries
  • Powder Sugar Organic, Vegan, Gluten Free
  1. Place bread to the side
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all bread coating ingredients.
  3. Mix together with either a hand blender or whisk.
  4. Coat bread 1 piece at a time and in a skillet, cook 2 pieces in 1 pan. Cook each side for 2.5 mins and flip to the other side.
  5. Once you have cooked each piece, place on your plate, cut in 1/2, dust with vegan Powder Sugar.
  6. Pour 3-4 Tablespoons of Shmellins® Salted Caramel Sauce
  7. ENJOY!
